The 1st Congress of Bilateral Economic Diplomacy of International Union of Bilateral Chambers of Commerce and Industry

The Official Opening of the international activity of the International Union of Bilateral Chambers of Commerce and Industry (IUBCCI) took place at The First Congress of Bilateral Economic Diplomacy.

On September 30th, 2015, at the Palace of Parliament from Romania was held “The 1st Congress of Bilateral Economic Diplomacy of International Union of Bilateral Chambers of Commerce and Industry” which marked the official opening of the international activity of this organization.
The event enjoyed the presence of representatives from more than 45 Embassies, domestic and international senior officials, as well as numerous representatives of bilateral chambers of commerce worldwide. There were also read the messages of appreciation sent by the U.S. Secretary of State, Mr. John Kerry and the Prime Minister of Romania, Mr. Victor Ponta.
The Congress Presidium was composed of H.E. Ms. Tamar Samash – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel in Romania, H.E. Mr. Teofil Bauer – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine in Romania, H.E. Mr. Ilia Giorgadze- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia in Romania, H.E. Mr. Osman Koray Ertaş – Turkish Ambassador in Romania, Mr. Jose Iacobescu – Deputy Chairman of IUBCCI and Mr. PhD. Prof. Nasty Vladoiu – Chairman of IUBCCI, who held allocutions on Bilateral Economic Diplomacy.
PhD. Prof. Nasty Vladoiu, Chairman of IUBCCI, highlighted the role and importance of bilateral economic diplomacy in the global economy and introduced to the distinguished guests a new concept: ECONOMIC DIPLONOMIE.
In the event were given decorations and awards from the Board of Directors of IUBCCI to some high officials, Ambassadors and other national and international personalities.
