On October 5th, 2016, the Secretary General of IUBCCI, Ms. Isabelle Vladoiu attended the Forum Open for Discussions organized by the local government of Buffalo, NY.

At the event were present the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of NY, Mr. William Hochul, the Erie County District Attorney,  Michael J. Flaherty, the Erie County Legislator, Ms. Betty Jean Grant, the Erie County Sheriff and representatives from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, the ATF Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Federal Bureau of Investigation Buffalo, the Buffalo Special Police, the Peace Makers, Stop the Violence Coalition, Foundation for a Drug Free World and Youth for Human Rights International.

The Forum was aimed at formulating problems and finding solutions to help the community on all aspects of social, economic and cultural. The local government officials expressed their willingness to dialogue with the leaders of non-profit organizations present at the Forum, and the invitation was accepted immediately, therefore asking questions to the officials on key points.

The Secretary General of IUBCCI, Ms. Isabelle Vladoiu availed of the opportunity and addressed questions on behalf of IUBCCI on issues of economic interest, inviting at the same time the respected officials to create together the bridge to communication necessary to enhance the welfare and help the business community. Her initiative was highly appreciated by the other guests present at the Forum, which was the only intervention acclaimed.
