The Executive President and the Secretary General of IUBCCI participated at the official presentation of The Way to Happiness Business Program
IWD 2016 campaign theme #PledgeForParity
"Worldwide, women continue to contribute to social, economic, cultural and political achievement.
And we have much to celebrate today. But progress towards gender parity has slowed in many places.
The World Economic Forum predicted in 2014 that it would take until 2095 to achieve global gender parity. Then one year later in 2015, they estimated that a slowdown in the already glacial pace of progress meant the gender gap wouldn't close entirely until 2133.
So how do we want to celebrate International Women's Day 2016?
We say by Pledging For Parity!
Everyone - men and women - can pledge to take a concrete step to help achieve gender parity more quickly - whether to help women and girls achieve their ambitions, call for gender-balanced leadership, respect and value difference, develop more inclusive and flexible cultures or root out workplace bias. Each of us can be a leader within our own spheres of influence and commit to take pragmatic action to accelerate gender parity."
Commit to take action to accelerate gender parity!
MAKE A PLEDGE NOW
On September 29th, 2016, the President of IUBCCI, Mr. Manuel Oancia and the Secretary General of IUBCCI, Ms. Isabelle Vladoiu accepted the official invitation of The Way to Happiness Foundation International to participate at the presentation of their program which has been successfully implemented worldwide.
The Way to Happiness is the first moral code based wholly on common sense, originally published in 1981, which has as purpose to help arrest the current moral decline in society and restore integrity and trust to humankind. The Way to Happiness holds a Guinness Record as the world’s single most translated non-religious book in the world.
Used by corporate executives, community leaders and educators for more than twenty-five years, The Way to Happiness Business Program has proven an unqualified success at changing employee attitudes, conduct and the ability to solve problems.
The event brought together many leaders, heads of non-profit organizations whom were introduced to The Way to Happiness Business Program and were given a Free Business Kit.
The distinguished guests were informed about the impact that this program has in various countries where it has been implemented, bringing to their attention as well that besides the business program, The Way to Happiness has been tailored on the following programs:
Program for Governments
Program for Educators
Program for Correctional Officers
Program for Police
Program for Crisis Zones
Program for Community Groups
The idea drawn from the presentation was that whether you are a CEO, human resource director, employee assistance professional or a concerned businessperson, this program can help you influence others on their path to honest and ethical choices and thereby increase the productivity and viability of your company or organization.
