During 23-24 of February, the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) and the Union of Bilateral Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Romania (UBCCR) organized the 2nd Session of the Joint Jordanian-Romanian Business Council having as purpose to address possibilities of establishing new ventures between the two countries (Romania and Jordan).

The JBA Chairman, Mr. Hamdi Al Taba'a, also Deputy Chairman of IUBCCI, spoke about cooperation in the energy, tourism and service sectors such as higher education, healthcare and information technology, and asked the Romanian businessmen to take advantage of the investment allowance under the free trade agreements, which opened Arab and international markets for Jordanian products.
